I met the lovely Michelle & Brian earlier this year for a pre-wedding shoot near their home town of Wimbledon in a fun and wintery shoot and it’s been a few months of looking forward to being their wedding photographer at their wedding day as they tied the knot at the wonderful Botley’s mansion in Chertsey. Michelle & Brian had put an abundance of personal touches and details throughout Botley’s mansion owing to their London roots. The venue itself is a stunning Grade II listed mansion set amongst rolling hills of the Surrey countryside, just a short drive from Guildford & Godalming.
It was great being there as both Michelle and Brian celebrated their big day amongst close family and loving friends. Michelle and Brian both chose to get ready within the abundance of grand rooms that sit atop the main reception and hosting rooms on the lower floor. We followed Michelle as she descended the main stair case before the final moments prior to exchange vows in a beautifully decorated and sun lit hall at the side of Botley’s mansion. From start to finish, there was no part of the day where the moments of magic were not there to be photographed and captured for future times as they both start their lives together as Mr & Mrs. In fact, we ended up with an awful lot more pictures than we usually would, such was a day filled with emotions and charms! It turns out the world’s also a rather small place at times with Brian being one of the many cool people from a small place called Newark, a place I call home.
We hope you enjoy the following pictures from Michelle & Brian’s most amazing day as much as we enjoyed taking them!
